OPAP Major Sponsor of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee Supports the strongest team in Greece
OPAP, as the major sponsor of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, proudly supports the Greek athletes’ effort at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, demonstrating its backing of Greek society and sport in practice.
The motivation are the athletes’ themselves, who are a source of inspiration through the faith they have in their abilities and their insistent efforts to overcome adversity. For five consecutive years, OPAP supports and honors the strongest team in practice, in order for our athletes to have the chance to pursue and achieve their goals.
At the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, September 7-18, Greece will be represented in 11 sports, by 41 men and 13 women; specifically, in Wheelchair Tennis, Powerlifting, Sailing, Swimming, Boccia, Wheelchair Fencing, Cycling, Sharpshooting, Athletics, Judo and Archery.
Through the TV campaign entitled “Adynaton” (Impossible), OPAP presents the Greek athletes who will participate in the Rio Games. The footage highlights the greatness of their soul; they defy difficulties and make the “Impossible” possible, becoming a source of inspiration, pride and optimism.
OPAP’s support to the Hellenic Paralympic Committee indicates the company’s contribution over time, standing by Greek society, driven by responsibility throughout its range of activities.
The “Adynaton” (Impossible) TV campaign is another sample of OPAP’s effort to raise awareness and further contribute to creating a better future for young people.
