For the 3rd consecutive year people participate and OPAP contributes to the renovation of the two children hospitals “Aghia Sofia” and “Panagioti & Aglaia Kyriacou”
Ahead of the 34th Authentic Athens Marathon, OPAP invites everyone to participate free of charge for the 3rd consecutive year via the “Something Better” application and contribute to the renovation of two children hospitals “Aghia Sofia” and “Panagioti & Aglaia Kyriacou” that OPAP is implementing since 2014 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program.
Specifically, via its updated “Something Better” application that everyone can download on their mobile phone or tablet computer, OPAP gives everyone the opportunity to play and contribute by participating in four challenges that gradually “unlock” leading up to the day of the Marathon. Also, anyone can participate via PC on www.katikalytero.gr, thus increasing the overall amount that OPAP will contribute.
Anyone can accumulate a virtual amount of money by downloading the app, answering quiz questions correctly, spotting differences in the “Spot challenge”, jumping over hurdles, running distances required, inviting friends and sharing on social media. OPAP automatically converts the amounts conjured up from the participation of the public into financial support that will be included as in previous years to the overall amount the company will use for the renovation of the two children hospitals.
This year the OPAP application goes one step further as all players will have the ability to create or participate in a team thus making OPAP’s final contribution even larger. Furthermore, on the day of the 34th Marathon, on 13 November 2016, all application users, runners and visitors will be able to increase the amount offered by the company even more by simply checking in.
OPAP invites everyone to embrace this action and take part in “Something Better” by downloading the application that is available on Play Store and App Store. Besides, children always deserve something better.
